LiT/LiM 35/65 PURE is a laboratory-grade lithium borate fusion flux supplied for preparation of fused beads and sample dissolution for elemental analysis. It is formulated as a 35/65 blend of lithium tetraborate (LiT) and lithium metaborate (LiM) and is used to dissolve solid samples and produce homogeneous glass beads for XRF and related analytical techniques; LiM-rich blends are also indicated for sample preparation prior to ICP due to lower melting point and facile crystallization in acidic solutions.
